HafenTraum a little trip around the world anniversary
Once upon a time ... there was an idea for a unique hostel in Bremen.
It was shaped in the minds of the makers of the HafenRevueTheater and HafenRummel.
It had to be special and tailored to the location - as it was already located in Bremen's former overseas port. It was the bare and empty halls that seemed to be calling out for this idea and a new purpose.
Historic caravans were acquired and converted for hotel use, alongside wooden cabins. Family bathrooms and heating systems were installed with great care, which raised the level of comfort to an unprecedented level and created an ambience that Bremen´s harbor had never seen before.
Then the opening followed on April 15, 2019 and Northern Germany welcomed a new attraction: HafenTraum - The Indoor Hostel Camp.
33 beds in campers, shepherd's wagons, cabins and even two rooms. All inspired by the old Bremen overseas harbor and the ships from seafaring nations that once docked there.
Romantic, yet cosy, and in every sense an experience for city travelers, adventurous families, and company events looking for something truly special.

33 comfortable accommodations in 11 units - including small oldtimer caravans, tiny houses, rooms and wooden cabins - that make dreaming and slumbering
in your very own harbour world with 15 countries an unforgettable experience.
Each sleeping accommodation represents a seafaring nation and is individually designed with loving attention to detail and stylish decorations.
The thoughtfully designed wagons in the harbour atmosphere are complemented by small seating areas and breakfast baskets.
Enjoy breakfast on your own jetty or relax in the evening under the harbor lantern with a book, whatever the weather.
If you enjoy a friendly, communal atmosphere, you will feel right at home here.
Tip: please bring slippers.
Pets are only allowed in the family room (separate entrance).
